What we are looking for: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Research, Grant, and Social Impact Manager. The ideal candidate will spearhead research initiatives, secure grant funding, and oversee social impact programs to drive positive change and foster community engagement. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that drive positive social change and maximize the impact of our programs. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you’ll be responsible for; • Develop and refine Casava’s social impact strategy, aligning it with the company’s mission and objectives. • Lead the execution of the social impact strategy, ensuring its integration into Casava’s operations and initiatives. • Cultivate and nurture partnerships with local and international organizations, governments, and stakeholders to amplify Casava’s social impact efforts. • Conduct thorough research to identify potential impact opportunities, grants, and funding sources to support Casava’s initiatives. • Identify funding opportunities for social impact initiatives. • Prepare and submit grant applications, leveraging insights from research to secure funding for social impact projects. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to incorporate social impact considerations into product development, marketing, and other business functions. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Casava’s social impact initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize outcomes. • Represent Casava in public forums, conferences, and events to promote the company’s commitment to social responsibility and impact.

Job Requirements

The right candidate might have… • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred. • Proven track record of success in research design, grant writing, and project management, preferably in the insurance, fintech, or nonprofit sector. • Strong understanding of research methodologies, grant funding mechanisms, and impact measurement frameworks, with experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and research findings in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences. • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate research insights into actionable recommendations and business opportunities.
